Simply training for a marathon is a big challenge. It is not always easy or fun progressing through the hundreds of training miles while trying to stay healthy but still push it hard enough to maximize the benefit from each training. Our marathon training program can help. When it is time for you to train for that marathon, we can help you if you 13.1 half crazy, or if are you a full 26.2 mile crazy. Our team of experienced marathon coaches will work hard to make sure you are ready for a great race day.
Step 1 – Assessment
Our personalized marathon consultation will assess your current fitness level and more importantly your running history so we can figure out what to focus on to take your running to the next level for your upcoming marathon.. The assessment also allows us to talk about your race goal so we can pick the best strategy for your training season to maximize your fitness benefit. We want to make sure you are ready for your half or full marathon by training you in a safe & healthy manner so you can avoid injury downtime and keep progressing towards your race goal.
Step 2 – Personalized Training Plan
We all don’t wear a size 13 sneaker and neither should we all follow the same training plan. We will customize a training plan that is just right for your evolving fitness status, your long-term running goals and your current work & family schedules.
Step 3 – Group Runs (depending on availability)
To keep you moving and engaged on the longest runs of your training plan, we provide group runs. Our marathon group runs include complimentary fluid stops along the training route, coaching feedback during the miles and educational lectures after the training. We offer our marathon group runs on Saturday mornings.
